Thanks for the books.

I have - I believe - had several numinous experiences, and as a consequence, I bring myself here to learn more. For some reason, as I have said, the word just seems to get in the way of my enjoyment, especially when I read about them. It's a suspect shorthand, originally used by those who want to invest their experience with some kind of religious (and therefore non-isolated) epithany, and now - sadly - common-place. I believe it has little or nothing to convey about the various megalithic structures that we have around us, and to use it in that context is misleading.
