you're right - well spotted! St Barts is just lovely - don't know where the stone came from though- and it always feels quite primitive to me. After a certain time with the old stone places it doesn't seem to really matter anymore whether its christian, pagan or whatever I think - you don't remember the wierd complicated fucked up stuff just the ambience of hundreds upon hundreds of years of reverence - maybe thats what people mean by sacred
