Dating rock art is a near impossible business. It can only really be done accurately when it is found in association with organic remains, such as in a burial, that can be dated. Even then, the rock art may pre-date the burial... especially if it has been re-used from an earlier site????

This gives a 'no later than' dateThe rest is mostly guess work.
