I think, of the two albums proper, you'd probably like the debut "Through Low Light and Trees" best as a gateway drug, although I've been caning "Blood Speaks", the newie like a total fiend since I got it.

There are eps and things too that I have collected (thanks to the kindness of Mingtp) and also a rare tour album that AQK passed on to me which is very early and sparse -in a nice way -compared to later things.

I freely admit that my critical faculties are slightly clouded re La Smokies, but they tick so many boxes on my "things i like" list that it's inevitable. I have willingly surrendered to their enchantments.

Actually, I find that at this age, it's quite nice to find a band that can still do that to you. Proper pop adoration.
