Fennesz 'Vienna' - found this fabulous slice of experimental electric guitar magic via the Sylvian compilation 'Sleepwalkers' with which it shares a track. If you like 'No Pussyfooting' you'll love this;

lovely CD, If you are thinking of hearing more I would recommend Endless Summer & Black Sea which IIRC sandwich this release

as for this weeks listening

Johnny Cash - Unearthed

Klaus Schulze - La Vie Electronique 3

Bauhaus - In The Flat Field the omnibus edition, lovely bit of Goth,must check to see if they reissued any more of the albums in expanded sets recently

Diodaar - Black moon Seige Impression
Is That The Light I See?......Or Is It The Gleam In The Devil's Eye a couple of wonderful slices of Newcastle Drone featuring Waz Hoola and in the case of Is That The Light I See at least a 1/4 of Bong

Leyland Kirby - Sadly The Future Is No Longer What It Was

Can - The Lost Tapes whilst I wouldn't say this is essential if you don't have any other Can if you do this is a wonderful addition to the canon, still marvel at hearing something new when I listen

Deep Purple - In Rock

Greasy Truckers - the Man and Hawkwind discs

Neil Young - Le Noise

The Cult - Ceremony haven't listened to this in a while, most enjoyable in a Cult in full on rock mode kinda way

Motorhead - Bomber

Screaming Trees - Dust

PJ Harvey - Rid of Me

New Order - Substance

Mono - For My Parents
