I was there too, thought it was pretty good and even bought a scarf in the most forward thinking piece of merchandising ever (6 months when all is forgotten you'll dig it out along with the albums...). Both support acts were brilliant so in all three decent bands for a tenner. One had a seance and brought back bauhaus (complete with cheekbones) and the other Alien sex fiend - not artic monkeys jamming with prodigy as some stupid children near me thought... And therein lies my only complaint. When I first saw the horrors they blew me away and the energy of the largely underage nme crowd was a major part of that , but last night the crowd at the front at least was full of trendy ignorant arrogant gobshites ( when did the kings of leon look become fashionable?). Witnessed a few bouts of fisticuffs which at a goth tinged event was odd. However, the new stuff sounded great and went down well, but it was the old songs at the end that held real menace...
