My initial enjoyment of Julian's music was (and remains) in the Teardrops keyboard heavier ballad sounding stuff notably Wilder period....Tiny Children, the Great Dominions and Ouch Monkeys (which I think is the Teardrops doing Joy Division's Closer better than Joy Division).

As for the solo stuff, I confess to not hearing much of it apart from the early albums. Liked Fried a lot and loved Sunshine Playroom but only heard glimpses after that.

Liked the standing stones TV programmes too.
