I have to say that you have won me over here Dave. Before reading your posts (and read them I did), I was posessed by a kind-of :

'they are both just different facets of the same murderous behind-the-scenes machine, so in the long term, it doesn't matter who wins the election as the puppet masters and infrastrucure that supports them remains in place - Therefore a vote for an independant third is the intellectually, and morally justifiable thing to do, regardless of chances of winning'.

However, your words have shed new light on the situation, and opened my eyes. I'm big enough to say that I now admit to seeing things from a different perspective.

I agree with you. Anything that can be done to stall the Republicans, must be done with all due haste.
