I think very few people are unwilling to be "open minded" but there's an awful lot of nonsense to wade through - usually with a money-making agenda if you look carefully. Of the two links you gave it would be very hard not to think the one author wasn't as mad as ten badgers (see Google) while the other website is run by one of the two Dutch vandals that climbed into the Silbury shaft and caused damage in 2000 having "seen" UFOs hovering over it. Hmmm. They revisited Avebury recently and this is the latest attempt to wring every last drop of money out of the issue I reckon. (He can always sue me if I'm wrong!)

I saw zillions of vaguely crop circle shaped areas of rain flattened barley when I was a lad but I've never seen a picture of a complex formation that couldn't have been man-made. If it COULD be manmade then the proper response is to think it probably is and to look for evidence it wasn't surely? Can anyone point to any? I live in hope (truly).
