Re: Living Heritage Threat

no suprise that it's now our ancient heritage that will be cynically and selfishly traded to fill their coffers.

Well, no more barn conversions to sell off (Maggie's gift remember. £200K windfalls, gratis, to those who didn't need it - and in sharp contrast to her other property-related move - the right to buy your council house if you paid for it!) so I guess the lasndowners are overdue for a handout.

I can actually prove it's corrupt favouritism:
Logically, planning permission on woodland or a barn represents a lump of value entirely created by us, the community, with the stroke of a pen. No-one earned it or deserves it, so logically it should be subject to a 100% Development Tax, yes? So why isn't that being proposed?
