I don't see how such a ruling could possible be enforced. I will be at the druid events but not camping. So someone can have my spot lol.

I imagine the Free and Open Gorsedd will be longer than 30 minutes. It could also start earlier than that, depending on factors on the day. I generally get ready for 13:00 with an expectation for it starting from 13:30 onwards.

Hi Matthew.
It's the fact that you have to take part in a druid ceremony that i have an issue with, surely its descriminates against other "faiths" who wish to be there to do their own thing and don't want to listen to Terry.
As you rightly say, it's an rule they can't possibly enforce but it's the principle of it that worries me.
Wouldn't surprise me if Terry patrolled the site looking for non druids to report.
I've yet to see any proof of this ruling anyway so maybe it's all hot air.

I can't see Terry being concerned with trivia like that. He will be outside the Red Lion catching up with colleagues when not performing ceremony.

I'm not trying to demonize Terry but if the campsite was to fill up early and then more druids turned up........
The same rules should apply to all faiths, personally i blame the NT if indeed this is true.

Someone's just having a laugh. There's so much on at this time of year and so many people are away, I would be stunned if the camping area filled up. This festival is close to the Solstice so only the committed would come back again so quickly for what is only a cross-quarter day celebrated far less than Beltane the other side of the Solstice.
