Re: Anybody want a foamhenge

Stunning as the site is, it would be impossible to re-create a permanent replica there. It is a working estate farm with only single-track roads.

Further to other comments can I add that with conversations with the pros there (Julian Richards and Mike Pits) and the rest of the Stonehengineers the consensus was that the SA people used any and all methods available to them to move the stones. Stonerowing is surprisingly easy and with more experimentation we could find out how to steer. Log rolling could work under perfect conditions, as we had, but , as anyone who took part can tell, it is much much harder on the muscles and very tiring.
Thank you Gordon for letting us fulfill your dream :)
