Been reading David Bowman's "fa fa fa fa fa fa" book about the Talking Heads. It's a patchy read ( the anti-English music attitude really grates in places), but it's insprired me to go back and listen to em again in detail...so

Talking Heads 77
More Songs About Buildings and Food
Fear of Music
Remain in Light

have been played an awful lot around here. I've been pleasantly suprised at how fresh and funky these albums sound now. I mean, I listened to em to death when they came out, but that's some time ago now!

Also still listening to Robert Wyatt's Cuckooland and David Sylvian's Blemish, and of course the wonderful Kiosk and the Rome CD (plus a side salad of Brain Donor).

And, a big shout to LL for the wonderful throbbing beasty that is Noisemakers Third Ear. With luck it wont be long before you too can own this splendid artifact, and the audio streams should be up on Noiseweb before too long.

Peace and Noise!
