Ahhh, Grease! . . . yes their guitar work is very Television-like.

I'm not trying to dis Verlaine, but like for example on Marquee Moon (the song) that's Verlaine doing the "dada-dada-dada" rhythm riff while Lloyd plays those spiraling whirly-whirly licks that are so damned impressive. Pretty much anytime Tom is singing, Richard is playing the "difficult" guitar parts. But Tom gets most of the proper "solos."

I must say though, on the whole I was more impressed with RL than TV. I've seen Lloyd do a solo gig as well, but not Verlaine. (Richard is a nice chap too, very approachable.)
