Well, can't have the last word on it, 'cause I don't really know what that may be.

I grant you that Obama may not mean jack shit to the overall effort towards a sustainable world. So maybe I'm just being a bit Yank-centric in my opinion that, hell, it's gonna be McCain, or it's gonna be Obama, and we all agree that the latter is preferable to the former, even if for relatively superficial reasons on a global scale.
As far as OUR domestic concerns go, I do think a Democrat would sign a universal health care bill, for example... something that is sorely needed here. I also think a Dem prez-congressional majority would act to help clean energy efforts expand thru various legislative tools.
