I absolutely agree with everything you just said.

As has been pointed out, we're both seeking the same ends. We both agree that an Obama win will be preferable to a McCain win.
The only difference between us is that I think that Obama will not turn out to be quite as obstinate as you predict in maintaining the 'status quo'.

Call it... shudder... faith? I have to retain a certain degree of it in pulling the lever for him and Biden. There's MUCH in both of them that goes against my beliefs.

But I think the Dems could be far more willing to fund green energy initiatives. I think they will repeal the grotesque tax giveaways to the wealthy shits who've driven the world down this road. I think they will be less reckless with their foreign policy.

Will we get everything? Of course not. People who can't accept anything but everything they want are always going to be unhappy.
