I think the skillful aliens have largely stopped doing it, leaving a gap which has been partly filled by unskilled ones. A lot of the ones last year were really poor. Some say some of the humans that have been making a good living out of providing websites and talks on the subject have taken to the fields to keep things going but who knows?

It's a real shame if the game is going to deteriorate as many were fantastic with no downside (if done with the connivance of farmers as some were). And of course, the crop circle tourist dollar is massive. Maybe aliens should be hired to run courses at local colleges? (Of course, you'd also need additional specialists to add "energies").
