He did though , because he has had a better than chance hit rate , so he's got some experience , the more you do it the better you get . People forget that there are those who find water without resorting to dowsing as an explanation .

Yes but experience of what? If it was a piece or virgin land for him that he was dowsing then he must have 'something within' that helps him find water. What about the very first time he found it, just luck?
