Not sure I'm sold on the whole 'energies in objects' point of view, simply because in our day and age, surely the amount of 'tangible/ testable' background radiation, radiowaves and microwaves would surely blot out something so subtle and sensitive. Surely any 'energy' an item would retain would more than obliterated by those 'energies' bombarding and surrounding us at any given time. That's not to say that pre-radio/ electricity that people were not more 'sensitive' to electrical fields in objects or the outside world, just that I'd find it hard to believe in this day and age. Not a judgement on peeps who feel they have such power, just an observation.

(Hell, my missus works for an water organisation who has witnessed a Welsh farmer who can dowse a water borehole for you with a better than chance hit rate, so really, what do I know!)
