No, we never checked their results, and simply accepted them because of the Spartan methodology. But we wouldn't be watching out for lunar phenomena at Callanish without them. I've had good results relating Boltonian 'rock art' to the Megalithic Inch. And it can't be said to be an invention as it's still used, in rural China as the C'un, and in the Bay Area as the Acupuncture Inch (aka the A.U.M.). The notable thing about the AUM is that it varies from person to person - it's not impossible that the Megalithic Yard - which corresponds with my relaxed pace length - did too.
