The stone circle layouts were exploring simple geometry - it seems - if Thom was correct. The interaction between the Platonic Solids - if that is the correct name - is crucial to developing that skill. So it's not surprising results are seen in the micro and macro scales. Trouble is I would tend to the opinion that those experiments were being led by the appearance of flattened crops!

I wonder what happened to the ball that was at Manchester Museum. Where did it come from and where did it go to, are the two most important questions about it. Someone there told me they had seen it 'a few years ago' but was unconvincing. And I'm hoping that someone broadcasting from across the road to there will play a request tonight or tomorrow.
