Re the Mitchell Hedges Skull, it's quartz if I remember rightly, there's a lot of controversy about it being genuine, MH himself seems to have told porkies about its origins.
I'll reserve judgement on it until I've actually held it myself :-)

The Legend of the Crystal Skulls is a Hopi one, again, DYOR, ( Do Your Own Research) there's lots of untrue stuff out there.

Re your other post about heating crystals under pressure etc, Mother Earth already does this and that's what we stand on, the earth's crust is made of a large percentage of quartz ready "energised".

You asked can crystals think, no idea, but they can be programmed, look up Lemurian Seed Crystals and also the work of Marcel Vogel who was a scientist with IBM and later worked with quartz.
