I have no idea what you are talking about - wasn't he the guy who spent millions on shiny things to put in churches?

Seems to be some sort of explanation here....

Is gothic really relevant to prehisoric stones though?

>>I have no idea what you are talking about<<

Have a Google for Geomancy and Sacred Geometry, that may give you some clues, then apply that to Abbot Suger's theories,

At least I think that's what Cropredy's on about...

>>He knew (or the people around Him knew )how to use the earths energies and the grid system it runs on He could use to measure to divine proportions all the cathedrals and subsequently all our parish churchs, then all the knowledge was lost, mainly I believe surrpresed by religious authorities who in the belief of the one true god did not want anything to deflect this and so ruled the people by the fear of god.<<

Well, most Christian churches are sited on former Pagan sites. As for "new" sites, there's theories abounding on the 'net that the knowledge you refer to isn't lost but is kept secret by the Christian religious leaders and still used to find new sites.

I haven't a clue whether that's right or wrong.

Are sites of all religions' places of worship worldwide determined according to gematria etc? Are Mosques, Hindu and Buddhist Temples also sited this way?

I would guess the Chinese temples are sited with Feng Shuei etc, but don't know if there's a mathematical principle behind it.

Wonder if Dan Brown is reading this...look out for another book.
Just love the idea of the upper echelons of the Xtian churches keeping the truth secret!

LOL!! I think John Michell has beaten him to it by about 25 years, I think that's where I originally encountered this theory, but I'm not sure, it's a l-o-n-g while ago since I read it, could also have been Sig Lonegren.

I've just sprayed hot chocolate all over my monitor ;-)

Cropredy, Dan Brown wrote the Da Vinci Code, the conspiracy theory best seller.

"What is the Holy Ghost ?
They believe it exists( and learning as I am) I consider that what they refer to is,,the dowsable energy that I wander along following ."

You dowse the Holy Ghost? You consider that's what it is?....
Slow down a bit Cropredy. You can't know that, it's just an idea you've had.
