Hi Cropredy,

I've not dowsed in any churches, save the Lostwithiel one. Generally speaking, I don't like the atmosphere in them, i sense all the negative things there that religion brings.

When I dowse, it's in the circles and ancient places but I don't find what you do. I'm increasingly finding what seems to be, for want of a better description, 3 rings of energy which we have to pass through to enter a site. The ones with a bank and ditch read like this.

Line of approach x

Top of bank _. ._

Walking down bank x

Bottom of ditch _. ._

Walking up bank x

Top of bank _. ._

Enter Site x to centre of circle or all the way across.

So it seems I'm crossing 3 separate rings or bands of energy and I was wondering if that's what contributes to the feeling of a different atmosphere within a circle to without.

Have you found this as well, or is it just we find different things. many dowsers do!
