I'm not a Catholic, but my understanding of Holy Ghost is that it is the divine spirit within us all, that is linked to God. I know that sometimes in the scriptures though (don't ask me to quote, as my bible study days are long gone) the Holy Ghost is synonomous with God. Who I'm pretty sure is not dowsable.

And Suger only rebuilt l'abbaye st denis, which was originally built on a roman graveyard. and what is left of it isn't his work, and mostly napoleonic restoration, so yes, we have forgotten what suger was saying. although i think the only thing he did say was "bring more shiny things"
