Actually no, anything that makes the S*n look stupid is fine.

In terms of the debate; I have a lot of time for Post, Homogenic and Vespertine. After that I'm not sure what happened, for me it all gets a bit like an excercise in creating interesting 'beats', the music gets lost in the production and vocal gymnastics. I find the production way too dry as well, which doesn't help.
And I find the huge number of remixes/remix albums/live albums etc dissapointing to say the least.

As for the 'art' thing, it does get in the way for me, and sometimes seems a little forced. I saw the documentary about the film she made with Matthew Barney (Drawing Restraint 9) and, whilst part of me wanted to see the value of it, most of me thought it was a pretentious and pointless waste of money and Vaseline.

That said, I do believe that she believes that what she does is art and if diminishing record sales means she has to churn out endless remixes, well, its better than her selling her old socks for booze money isn't it?
