It is sad

I hope you know I was making that exact point (clumsily) Tombo!

I used to know Anthroposophists, who didn't have a TV in the house, they were regarded with ample suspicion, and their children regarded as wholly 'underpriveledged'. Have to fit in, come on, keep up. No doubt their kids became AVID tv watchers thanks to the 'charity' of friend's parents ;-)

Back to my question, do YOU think that violence is regarded less censorable than nakedness because of the viewers? Do you think we are more comfortable with violence than viewing nudity? Sex and Violence are allegedly the biggest crowd pullers, but (at least in the US) it amazes me to see swear words edited out, like people are so delicate, (the Osbornes is one long F**BEEEEEPP!) yet there is no end of graphic death by gunshot. And as I say, nipples are the DEVILS work as far as TV bosses are concerned. Are they really more delicate than all the people I see walking on the beach with no-nipple-problems?

It's dishonesty I abhor, and censorship I feel IS dishonest, unless to protect the actor/subject.
