There are various assumptions that are problematic . Why assume the dowser is male , that consciousness is located in the head and that the movement of the rods is due twitching wrist muscles ?


Maybe Nigel and others would have liked to hear our discussion today. :-)If people look hard enough they will always find what they want to find. e.g. I know I'm going to find artefacts because across the river there is a heap of stuff going on. Someone dowsing would also know that so to say the dowsing found anything, when the person knows there is a fair chance of a find, sounds like their chances are high. Now put them in a strange place. Wonder what they will find?
