Can't believe I said that....

What I meant was, I can't see why interacting with an unknown force requires solid items like rods or pendulums. Surely if the force isn't discernable via conventional physics then it won't move anything in the conventional world? And why does it only do so if the rods are metal or wood but not plastic or paper?

Q2: Why hasn't evolution given animals the ability to dowse? It's a big survival advantage.
