One answer is to join a group such as Rollright Trust and help out. Tidy up the site. I always take a black bin liner to WKLB to remove nightlites and any rubbish.
Some sites are more prone than others, Mitchells Fold is always clean and tidy, and its wide open to dog walkers and public.I believe there was a fire there years ago. Rollright on other hand has always attracted the yobs/drunks,esp at night,It is almost impossible to offer it protection, resulting in fires, vandalism and heart breaking paint attacks.
Maybe best offering is a few crumbs of bread for the birds?
