Surely you must admit that forests have far more bio-diversity than the fells, though?

I love the bareness of the fells dearly, but I'd still return most of them to forest. My love of the bleakness, the "wildness", is a very human-centred perspective. From the point of view of ALL life, surely its better that they were forested?
