That Baletto di Bronzo really is something else. Not sure if they did anything else similar since I do know that their first lp is pretty different, more Hendrixy guitar orientated protostoner type, still pretty good though.
By YS they were more keyboard dominated and yeah I think the intensity is pretty high.
Think this lp would appeal to a lot of krautrock fans or basically fans of great alternative music not just Italian prog fans. Not sure who is putting things like this out at the moment but BTF.it always used to be great for prices and postage. Keep hoping that a label like Esoteric might get interested in the area and give things like this an extra push.
Though that might just mean that Italian prog be a fad when of course Ital is vital.
Having said that, not sure how far this represents Italian prog since it seems to be its own thing as much. There are some other great Italian prog records worth seeking out but this is downright essential.
