"Chugging Space Quo"...I love that. A perfect description of so much Hawkwind. Wish I'd thought of it!

Mind you, it's a bit degrading to the real Quo, who in their classic line up of Coughlan/Lancaster/Parfitt/Rossi were a first class rock'n'roll band. They were always tight as fuck, and Hawkwind were anything but.
