i must admit though that i saw an old video of gong doing "i never glid before" and i can't get the image out of my head of daevid allen. He reminded me of a terrible mix of the lead singer of the spin doctors and the red hot chili peppers. I just don't like that vibe. Of course without watching that performance and simply hearing "i never glid before" i love it. Here's the performance in question. The music is great....
