Two sides of the same coin. Heads and tails are both winners IMO ( well, from 71 to 76 anyway ). Not that they're in competition, man ;-)

Still listen to both bands a lot, s'pose Gong get played more these days simply 'cos of their musical chops and their ability to stretch things out but if i'm in the mood for something visceral only Space Ritual will do.

That said, when it comes to the bands they influenced, i'll take The Heads over The Orb everytime.
