its all a matter of mood really. i think i would pick gong actaully as its more relaxed space music. You can concentrate or just drift off better with much more ease in the Gong universe. Also Gong is pot and Hawkwind is more like alcohol. I must admit that i get more Hawkwind play when i'm on the last beer of the night and i want to here something that plainly rocks.
