Yeah, probably pre- them as well Drew! You should check out the three albums they did 77-79: Pink Flag, Chairs Missing and 154.

If you want some easy tasters, try "Three Girl Rhumba", "Dot Dash", "Outdoor Miner" and "Map Ref ...". As I know you're a connoiseur of Mr Haig's stuff, Wire may well appeal. The late 80s stuff is a little New Order-y and to be honest they haven't ever really made a duff record (imho).
