"Amazing Disgrace" is brilliant. It was after "Frosting..." and you can tell that, given the time, (Nirvana et al) they'd kinda figured lets rock it up more and this will be the ONE! Except, in true Posies style, it wasn't! Nothing to do with the quality of the songs though ,I reckon you'll love it.

They've always seemed a bit analogous to That Petrol Emotion to me. You know the songs are there, they can rock live, why aren't they huge?

I like Teenage FanClub, but I prefered them when they were mixing their Crosby Stills n Nash thing with Dinosaur Jr. They seemed to get a bit too sucked in with being 'classic songwriters', always acclaimed but selling zip, and I think the later albums suffered for it. They'd make for a good compilation album I think!
