Grails - Doomsdayer's Holiday
This is just great. Kinda like a doom Pink Floyd?

Have been listening to Grails a lot of late, maybe too much actually, but the last track Acid Rain certainly puts me in my mind of a Gilmour dominant mid period Floyd track. Not so sure about the other tracks though, for me Doomsdayer's is just progressive in the very best way in that the musicians seem to be forever pushing their own limitations and coming up with something fresh and original that references the past but without doing so in any obvious way.

BTW, their recent DVD titled Acid Rain is superb, both the live footage ( mostly The Knitting Factory NYC '07 ) and videos ( a format i'm not usually interested in ) are out of this world. Highly recommended if you've got any birthday dosh left !
