Gladly:

Lumpy Gravy (1968) Early orchestral/musique concrete/rock collage, hand spliced over 8 months.

Uncle Meat (1969) The conclusion of the early Mothers of Invention's sound. Rock, doo-wop, jazz, and madness.

Hot Rats (1969) Zappa disbanded the Mothers and created this jazz-rock masterpiece, and took his guitar solo's to a new level.

One Size Fits All (1975) Usually the favourite album of any Zappa fan.

Lather (1977; unreleased in full until 1996) Originally released as four seperate albums, this box reveals the range and depth of Zappa's compositions.

Joe's Garage (1979) A three album opus, with a loose story line glued together by live guitar solos Zappa took from existing recordings and reinserted into new studio tracks. But you wouldn't be able to tell from listening.

Jazz From Hell (1986) An all (but for one) synclavier album, which delivered Zappa's otherwise humanly-impossible-to-play compositions.

The Yellow Shark (1993) A collaboration with the Ensemble Modern brought about this tour and album, one of the last before his death. Stayed on the classical charts for over a year.
