Don't know enough of his stuff. would reccommend the danish tv thing from '73 that's currently being torrented on Trader's Den cos it's pretty stunning.
I'm not into his scatological focus & that is more instrumentally focused I think. It does have a version of montana that is actually palatable.

Mothers of Invention were great.
I think Waka Jawaka should be good cos I think it finds him in the middle of his Bitches Brew influence. Also got a great live '73 & a '74 where he revisits Mothers material.

my friend who I see when I'm in London keeps bunging on his material & I find it about as welcome a lot of the time as Phish who he also insists on playing. Only thing good about them is the Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

Hot Rats is very popular too.
