Those seven Moody Blues albums. After thirty years practice, I can finally listen to "I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock N Roll Band)" without cringing. Much.

Grand Funk Railroad "I'm Your Captain (Closer To Home)". I like the guitar solo in "We're An American Band", too.
