which is why I've been in contact with the Bucks Archaeological unit, because I'm particularly worried about *any* non-biodegradable object left up there by an individual without permission

it's a funny story ...

GeoCaching is new on them, and they like the idea of people getting out into the country, but they're going to have a meeting about it to decide what their policy is. But they are going to bury a time-capsule up the top of the hill as part of the restoration project. But somewhere the archaeologists say is OK, rather than just dumping it at random
