That is different, I would say, since you are looking for co-beligerents to support the prevention of the stone-cracking (I assume). Others here and I would support an attempt to stop this taking place, in which case we collectively would be acting as policemen in the sort of sense I meant - however we would be preventing further human interference in the environment, as per the sentiments of most HHers.

Our interests do not include any interference in any site, unless of course we tidy up after ourselves completely. Most people here would extend that to the countryside too.

As an aside - what we make of farming though in that context which makes up most of the land management in this country I don't really know - I do know that I like food tho' and think it is a good idea for people to have food!
