sheesh. this education education education lark can be very tiring...

All I'm saying is, if there is any risk of any kind of environmental damage, no matter how big or how small, why oh why leave boxes behind? what is the flippin point? what good does it do in the greater scheme of things?

1. it gets the kids out of the house?

A : so does walking or playing football

2. I get to see new and unusual places?

A : buy a tourist guide

3. I make new friends?

A : you need to get out more anyway

4. I like playing games?

A : Take up orienteering

5. I like treasure hunting?

A : Use virtual caches

Basically I just can't see any justification for it whatsoever. Sorry.
