Peter Sellers hung around with Peter Cook, hence funny.



Peter Cook hang around with Dudley Moore, brilliant pianist. My mum saw them back in the day and reckons Cook was a gobshite hanging on Moore's talent. Naturally I wasn't there so can't confirm.
