How about gunfire - does that count as wildlife?

We once went to find some stones at a field Doune - I think the nearby farm was called Half Moon or something.

Parked the car next to a statue of one of the founders, perhaps even the founder, of the SAS and walked down the lane.

We thought about asking permission but it was a long walk and we couldn't quite figure out who to ask.

So boldly, as young idiots do, we continued on.

Climbed over dry-stane dykes, through barbwire etc.

I don't think we ever found what we were looking for, or we did and they had been broken.

Anyway we didn't look too long because we shortly heard the sound of a shotgun and made our escape.:)
