Yep, that was me alright!

Me and Mrs G, enjoying the fabulously serene setting among the stones above Bernera Bridge, when suddenly a sea eagle swooped out from under the bridge and across the water!

Was an amazing sight. Having my camera poised wouldn't have done it any justice, though...

Also saw an eagle circling in the cloud atop Schiehallion, which was a bit special.

Then there was the hare a few of us spotted on the way back from a fantastic cairn circle I can't remember the name of just outside Avebury at the 2008 Megameet, which stopped long enough for us to all grab a few photos.

And I once saw a sparrow in the Red Lion car park.
