If you find yourself near to Banchory on the A93, then you must go to the Bridge of Feugh, just to the south of the town. You can stand on the bridge and watch salmon leaping up the rapids.

I came across it by accident and was so entranced that I returned the next day to watch the display again.


That I would very much like to see. Is it just in the autumn though or do they leap at other times of the year?
