Actually, may I ask if there is any such thing as a ritual landscape? We do not build them today, so why would we in the past? What evidence do we have of a deliberate effort to build a landscape dedicated to the gods? In 1000 years time archaeologists may well dig up the thirty of so churches in my neighborhood and call it a sacred landscape, but it's not.
